It is quite clear from our previous study on country living, that is time to leave the cities and move into the country. In everything that we do, there is an order to it. “Let all things be done decently and in order. “-1 Corinthians 14:40
One of the first thing we are to do is found n Philippians 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” It is God’s will that His people relocate to the country, it is not His will that we be anxious, but we are to earnestly bring our individual situation before Him with thanksgiving, knowing that He has promised to hear and answer our prayers “according to His riches in glory” Philippians 4:19
He knows our situation and wants us to come to Him by faith, he says in The book of Matthew:
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:25-34)
The Lord loves us and has demonstrated this by giving His only begotten Son, and He will provide for us to make the move into that country dwelling, our part is to, “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.” If we do this then our will, will be according to His, and we will not ask “amiss” (see James 4:3)
“Jesus does not release us from the necessity of effort, but He teaches that we are to make Him first and last and best in everything. We are to engage in no business, follow no pursuit, seek no pleasure, that would hinder the outworking of His righteousness in our character and life. Whatever we do is to be done heartily, as unto the Lord.” – {AG 21.4}
“Difficulties will be powerless to hinder him who is determined to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…. Looking to Jesus,… the believer will willingly brave contempt and derision. And help and grace sufficient for every circumstance are promised by Him whose word is truth. His everlasting arms encircle the soul that turns to Him for aid. In His care we may rest safely, saying, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee”” (Psalm 56:3). – {AG 21.6}
The Lord wants us to trust Him, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6). Do you believe that God wants you to be in the country? Do you believe that the world and everything in it is the Lord’s? “…for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.” (Psalms 50:12) “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.” -Haggai 2:8
“The time has come, when, as God opens the way, families should move out of the cities. The children should be taken into the country. The parents should get as suitable a place as their means will allow. Though the dwelling may be small, yet there should be land in connection with it, that may be cultivated.”—Manuscript 50, 1903. – {CL 24.2}
Brothers and sisters the time has come, and if you notice the date of the above quote, it is 1903, if it was time back them, it is even more so now. We are living on the edge of the time of trouble, the implementing of the mark of the beast. In this first step, if we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and earnestly bring our individual situation to the Lord by prayer and supplication, we will be well on our way to owning our country home. In the next step, we will look at, “God will Open the way”
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
… prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. Amos 4:12
